Open Positions

We're seeking one or two PhD students and one or two postdocs to start at CASA in 2020 or early 2021.

If you are interested in joining CASA as a postdoc or PhD student, please contact Professor Anders Møller (amoeller@cs.au.dk) and supply a CV and a short description of your experience with programming languages (possibly including program analysis and web technologies).

The postdoc positions are at the level of Research Assistant Professor of Computer Science.

Aarhus University admits PhD students on the basis of a bachelor's degree (for 5 year PhDs) or a master's degree (for 3 year PhDs). If admitted, all tuition is covered, and a generous stipend is provided (see Rules and Regulations p. 21-22 for more information). The PhD school has four annual application rounds: February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1.

For prospective PhD applicants, please also provide a preliminary project description (1-3 pages) that describes your ideas for a PhD project. We ask for this information to see that you can show initiative and to hear about your interests, which may be used as a starting point for discussing an actual plan for a PhD project. It is strongly recommended that you discuss the contents of the project description with Prof. Møller before submitting your application to the PhD school.
